1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Miss Blue websites, applications, APIs, and related services. It does not govern the privacy practices of our customers, Apple, mobile carriers, or other third parties.
When a business uses Miss Blue to communicate with its contacts, that business decides why and how those conversations occur. Its own privacy notice may also apply.
2. Information we collect
Account and profile information
We collect information such as your name, email address, organization details, account preferences, and authentication records. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes, not as readable plaintext.
Conversation and contact information
To provide the service, we process contact details, sender and recipient identifiers, message text, attachments, reactions, delivery information, timestamps, and conversation metadata submitted through the inbox or API.
Service and device information
We may collect IP addresses, browser and device characteristics, request metadata, feature usage, diagnostic events, and security records. We do not intentionally place message bodies in operational logs.
Communications with us
We receive the information you include when requesting support, applying for a role, responding to a survey, or otherwise contacting Miss Blue.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, route and synchronize messages, operate accounts and numbers, respond to support requests, improve reliability and usability, prevent abuse, comply with law, and communicate about the service.
We do not use the contents of customer conversations to build advertising profiles. We do not sell message contents.
4. How information is shared
We may disclose information to infrastructure, storage, security, analytics, support, and other vendors that help us operate Miss Blue under contractual restrictions. We may also disclose information when directed by a customer, required by law, needed to protect rights or safety, or connected with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Other members of your organization may see conversations and account information according to the access granted by that organization.
5. Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for the contacts and conversation data they submit, including providing required notices, establishing a lawful basis for outreach, honoring opt-outs, and responding to privacy requests related to their communications.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and business records, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention can depend on account status, customer configuration, the type of data, and applicable law. Deleted information may remain in protected backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Keep account credentials confidential and contact us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
8. International transfers
Miss Blue and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to appeal certain decisions. You may also opt out of non-essential marketing communications.
If Miss Blue processes your information for one of our customers, please contact that customer first. For requests directed to Miss Blue, use our contact page. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
10. Children
Miss Blue is a business service and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through account registration.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised version here and update its effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email.
